Message: <blockquote data-quote="PWT" data-source="post: 457499" data-attributes="member: 1506">I attended the ice bowl on 12/31/67 but was a in my late 20's in 1967.   My childhood days were in the 1940's.  During my childhood days thru my young adulthood, I  lived just 5 blocks for Old wooden City Stadium, which was Packers's home stadium from 1925 to 1956.  The  Packers moved over to new City Stadium in 1957,  which was renamed Lambeau Field in 1965. In early 1950's, we  teen age Packer fans would climb over the tall wooden fence around old CityStadium  to watch the Packers  play their regular NFL  season  football games  free of charge.  Packer  security would kick us out of the game in the  first half of the game, but in the sec0nd half of the game, Packer security  would let us sit on grass behind the east end zone  to watch the 2nd half of the game.    There were times as teen ager in early 1950's , I   would work  at Packer games as  popcorn or hot dog vendor. I bought my Packer season tickets in 1961, when new city Stadium seating capacity was increased  to 38,600 from it's original  seating capacity of 32,400</blockquote>
