Just ran a 4 Rd mock and it came out mind numbingly woa. This is HIGHLY unlikely to the point of impossible but hey, its what it was. I had the choice of getting Zach Braun in Rd 2 instead of my pick and almost did, but this wild vision stuck in my head and went a different direction. 30: R1P30 - WR HENRY RUGGS III (ALABAMA) 62: R2P30- RB JONATHAN TAYLOR (WISCONSIN) 94: R3P30 - LB TROY DYE (OREGON) 133: R4P30- LB JORDYN BROOKS (TEXAS TECH) Comments: Rd 1 - Ruggs isn't going to be there at #30 I know, but here he was. No brainer. Rd 2 - Taylor, (otherwise known as Mr. Fumbles) is also known as one of the best at his position otherwise. I think the possible upside, his ability to give Jones some rest while keeping a lethal weapon on the field, beside how absolutely scary it would look with both in the backfield at the same time. Add to that the extended shelf life of AR and a reduced dependency on a top flight passing game all make this a solid pick. KEY: If he can learn to hold onto the football Rd 3 - Speed at ILB that can cover the field. Not much for shedding blocks so we would have to upgrade the DL in FA to help Clark out but he's got speed and coverage ability. Rd 4 - Another solid player at ILB who makes plays. After this far in the draft, we would have taken care of a whale of needs for weapons on offense and speed in the middle on defense. No TE, OL or DL so far here but we have 6 more picks afterward and TE won't be as important with Ruggs and Taylor in town. Now back to reality . . .
