I've seen a ton of obvious onside kicks where the receiving team completely blows up the traditional unit and puts the best 11 sets of hands on the field PERIOD regardless of size. They're only there to catch the ball, not return it.To me, it's another in a long list of non-adjustments Slocum has a propensity for that demonstrates he's a reactive guy who only learns by remediating blunders.
