If the Packers are actually going to get value out of Epenesa, they'd need to play him on the edge. He can reduce inside on passing downs, but the majority of the time, he needs to play on the edge. He would not really replace Lowry, so much as enter in to the already crowded competition for snaps with the Smiths and Gary. I realize he is probably a very capable 5 technique, but the Packers use a 3-4 front like 25% of the time or less, so I think that's largely irrelevant in the 1st round. So I don't like that pick at all. Michael Pittman is a stellar WR. He has quicks to compliment his size and physicality, and can create separation rather than just high point passes against smaller DB's. The more familiar I've become with him, the more convinced I am that he goes high. He's my WR4 in this class, and I think he goes closer to #30 than to #62. There's a lot to like about Wilson. One thing to note, however, is that he's an older prospect. He will be 24 in July. So while he was a pretty impressive players at Wyoming, he was also 23 facing off against Mountain West Conference offenses. Grain of salt. I am not really familiar with Darryl Williams, but I do agree that the Packers may look for Linsley's replacement in this class. Zierlein pegs Williams as a guy who will fit in gap blocking schemes, but may struggle if asked to block with the movement required of teams that like to run a lot of zone. Take that for what it's worth.
