I still to this day feel TT and everyone thought MVS was going to be that #2 with Cobb gone and it simply didn't happen. We'd gambled amazingly well with when to let other guys walk and such...but letting Cobb walk before someone showed two years to us was the mistake. 2019 was the most recent year I argue that was when we didn't provide Rodgers with a cast of weapons sufficiently. I want to give him 2 out of 3 of WR/RB/TE #1s, and a second guy that is SOLID as the #2 at one of them as well (preferrable IMO to be a WR or RB). 2020 and 2021 we all know - our RBs just kept getting better, Tonyan exploded in 2020 which helped that offense be so deadly...MVS and Lazard in 2020 tag teamed the #2 role but no one actually grabbed it.
