[QUOTE="SoonerPack, post: 608391, member: 9838"] I love the pick and fully expected all the Ted is an idiot garbage. This kid is a corner that was forced to play safety. Todd Graham, ASU HC and former Tulsa HC, places extreme value on safety in his defensive scheme and wanted the kid there for his ball skills. I live in a suburb of Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and went to many Tulsa Hurricane games when Graham was coaching there and they aren't kidding when they say he puts a major emphasis on safety. If you watch film on the kid you see him at the LOS a bunch and he plays just like a corner. Mayock RAVED about his change of direction skills and the fact he used to play centerfield has contributed to his obvious ball skills. Mayock ran some tape on NFLN after the pick and his footwork and hip flip were damn near flawless. Mike M doesn't project bums and reaches to go #20 to Phiily as he did with Randall. The tackling thing has me a tad confused. One sentence you read how he is a "willing tackler" and while he doesn't deliver the "kill shot" he gets his man to the ground. The next sentence speaks to his lack of tackling prowess. I suppose he got pushed into 106 guys last year or something? This kid has a knack for big plays, 4.4 speed, great ball skills and according to Mayock some of the best secondary feet in the draft so I am more than fine with the pick and to be honest the more I read the better I like it.
