Screens and outlet passes work the same way, in slowing down the defensive pass rush. McCarthy has stretches where he is very good at utilizing these types of plays. He even employed Devante Adams in the quick out passes against Atlanta. It worked and forced Atlanta to start pressing Adams at the line. They then tackled Adams for a couple no-gains. The problem was that we should have recognized the press and sent the ball deep. Recognize and take what the defense gives you.</p></blockquote><p></p>
