.......geez, i try to lighten up things with a little joke, and get slapped for going "off topic?"
Fine.........i won't post any of my nonsense anymore. I'll let every topic remain ON topic and boring..........so they all end up in arguments.
I THOUGHT my humor was appreciated.........guess not by all.
    Hope you all have fun........
    bye

Umm... you'd think someone who cracks jokes often would have picked up on this.
I think you need to lighten up, please?

Uh.....i didn't SEE any "smiley faces" that would have told me you were joking.
I know how going off topic can tick some people off.
Honestly, i didn't know if you were kidding or not.

Nah if I was ticked I'd have locked it. I really thought 'beach cleaver' would be enough for everyone to see it was not serious.
There, its fixed for ya now.

I think what Cheesy was trying to say is that he thought the beach cleaver thing was daily routine for ya

Back on topic - do you have Sat or Cable with your DVR?

how much is NFL Ticket? like 200 bucks? i have cable right now, but in august i am moving to minneapolis. i will be married then, and my parents are giving me their 52" HDTV, and i have been having dreams of watching packer fb on HD... but i think the only way this is going to happen is by getting satelite and NFL ticket. living in minneapolis, my guess is that aside from the three prime time games, i can't count on any more than that.

I already do this. I record games to my panasonic DVD/Harddrvie recorder then take out commercials and archive to dvd. I even use HighDef from my directv off air signal and dont mind the cropping i get since the picture is excellent on my 50" hd tv during playback

but you are correct GREAT idea !

I cant afford NFL Ticket AND some super contraption of recordation (thats an actual word)!

however, NFL Network is replaying 4 games per week, and I bet a lot will be GB games, so hopefully the poor folks can tape the games THAT way.

Why not set up some kind of exchange here? Some of the fortunate can tape the game for others. I don't think it is illegal unless someone tries to make a profit off it.
