Good article in the JS today by Tom Silverstein. He is mainly addressing the B- grade he got from players in a post-season survey (he got an A- last year). I don't put much faith into these surveys. They are voluntary, and human nature leads people to participate in surveys when they're not happy. But TS also addressed Bisaccia's situation. There are two sides to this - one that Bisaccia wanted to stick it to MLF by making him wait 6 weeks before deciding to leave the team. I don't buy that excuse. The second side is that Bisaccia wanted to be closer to his family in FL and so apparently is taking the STC job at Clemson. He's leaving about $2 mil on the table, so he didn't take the decision lightly. This is more likely. It might very well take 6 weeks before deciding to leave $2 mil/year behind. Of greater concern is 1) the loss of Sean Mannion to Philly and 2) MLF making virtually no changes to the offensive coaching staff. I wasn't expecting wholesale change, and maybe there was no way to save Mannion. But leaving Stevanich as OC bugs me - I still don't know what he, or any OC, does on a team where the HC calls all the plays. And there has beeen no discussion about problem areas like clock management and the overall failure to make in-game adjustments. Other than Gannon and a new-look defense, the offense is standing pat. That just seems, ummm, wrong........
