[QUOTE="Pokerbrat2000, post: 757749, member: 7261"] 2017 saw Aaron Rodgers value skyrocket! What better proof did he need than seeing the Packers go from a Playoff team with him to a cellar dweller without him? Aaron Rodgers is a smart guy and winning is important to him. It also seems like Rodgers is very tuned into how fans perceive him and his legacy. While AR will no doubt row out of Green Bay with a boat load of cash when his contract is redone, I don't see him being unreasonable in his demands and how they impact the team going forward. I think in AR's mind he is thinking "I deserve to be paid, but let's do it in a way that allows the team to stay competitive and at the end of the day, I look like a team guy." I also don't see AR telling the Packers "you know what, I am going to test the Free Agent market and get THE biggest contract someone like Cleveland will pay me." I predict AR will finish his career wearing Green and Gold, it's just going to cost the Packers more money to make that happen, as it should. It will now be BK's job to figure out how to do it.
