They're normally devastating to a team in the playoffs. Many of the interceptions are on deeper passes where the QB is throwing it up in desperation. That points to a lack of shorter routes to TE's, RB's or slot receivers as a check down when the play breaks down. I don't know whether it's the fault of the QB in making an il-advised deep throw or whether it's coaches not providing those higher success rate check downs. Safe to say, if you throw a deep pass and the receiver isn't open, the chances of an interception go way up because the ball is in the air longer and DB's can go get it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
