The fact is, Capers doesn't have anyone on the DL or OLB spot other than Matthews who are any good at getting to QBs.</p><p> </p><p>Even when Capers dials up a great blitz, like he did on the game's 3rd offensive play yesterday when the Chiefs had 3rd & 8 from their 22 and Burnett came in free unaccounted for, Shields fell right away leaving his guy wide open for the 1st down.</p><p> </p><p>And no matter what play McCarthy calls on offense, if the LT or LG let their guy go right around them to Rodgers, it's going to not work. It's not automatically a bad play call by McCarthy. Same with when the receivers drop passes.</p><p> </p><p>It seems to me too many fans love to blame the coach.</p><p>They can only do so much.</p></blockquote><p></p>
