Let's look at Hayward and Hyde closer, they did make the pro bowl, but we all know what it is. but let's look at them since they left. Hayward basically had his rookie season with 1 INT extra the season he left and made the pro bowl with a new team. His numbers have basically been his career in Green Bay. But he did make that pro bowl. But how much better has he been really? and remember back to when he was let go. We knew he was good, everyone did. We also knew he was injured a lot, and we also just came off a season where 2 rookies and sam shields made him expendable in the defensive backfield. Looking back, and knowing what happened, obviously it didn't work out. But his best season in LA was basically his rookie ( and best) season in GB +1. How about Hyde? yes, he made a pro bowl, and had I known Dix was going to tank rather than keep improving, I'd have gladly kept Hyde and made Dix the back up and moved on when his contract was up. But as it stood, he was rounding into his own pro bowl and Hyde was a swiss army knife in our defense. Good enough we had to get him on the field, but not quite yet good enough to unseat the 2 safeties. He had a bunch of INT's early in 2017, which put him in the pro bowl or i'm not sure he makes it.This year? he basically has the exact same numbers he had ever year in GB as a swiss army knife DB. I don't think either of these players has become something they weren't already well on their way to becoming in GB.
