I'm not excusing Davante's actions, but put yourself in his shoes. You should expect to walk unimpeded to the locker room your team occupies. Within a split second, some dude is right in your grill. If it's me, do I think this guy is about to do harm on me? And I also think why is this guy in my space right now? Again, not excusing the action of Davante. But an assault charge? Give me a break. This guy will likely get him a nice settlement. More power to him. But what's lost in this whole thing is the lack of people holding this bozo accountable for his part in this. If he's more aware of his surroundings, this isn't an issue.</blockquote>
