As I reflect on this years draft and just the early reports coming out. Here are my very initial thoughts. Cisse. Just a steal of a deal at #52 overall. Now he’s a little raw, but major ceiling and solid medium floor. A likely starter by 2027 and serviceable CB in 2026 if someone goes down. McClellan. Being used quite a bit early all across the DL. He’s benefiting from Hargrave knicked up a little and is proceeding with caution as Wyatt works his way back. Reports are he more than looks the part as he works with the 1’s. Reminds me of Montravious Adams from a physical or technician perspective, yet likely with slightly higher ceiling Dani Dennis-Sutton. How he gets to back of RD4 is baffling. While his body of work was more limited in comparison to many prospects, when he’s on that field he’s splashing plays. Reminds me of a turbo version of Big Enagbare. Jager Burton. Was listed as 1 of the top 5 Rookie early standouts from Day 3 draft (in the league) during OTA/mini Camp. Partly as he Kinda fell into both Starting Guard positions with Belton sliding to RT and Banks rehabbing from a minor injury. He reminds me much of a young Linsley (just a quick study, fluid mover and ultra dense) Appears to be the steal of this Day 3 Class all the way at #153. RD 6 Domani Jackson and Trey Smack. These 2 are really the only bigger ? ? Smack has a few rough days but bounced back recently with 7/8 and 40 yard miss. Yet hit from 51/55 yards 2/2 Thankfully we kept Havrisik, who’s been Red Hot in early looks and won Q1 of the competition. Very few reports of Domani that I’ve seen. He’s a complete coin flip type CB. Low side is a Stud on Teams as he possesses Gunner Speed and top notch physical traits for that role. Upside is a good rotational CB until he irons out some erratic down and up college performances.
