[QUOTE="tynimiller, post: 1073746, member: 6578"] I know many will roll their eyes if we did this....but folks - let me tell you about a tackle prospect I LOVE and has GB written all over him. [HEADING=2]Max Iheanachor - Arizona State - 6'6' 330lbs[/HEADING] He plays RT for the Sun Devils...and while many would never know, football is honestly brand new to him relatively speaking. Little about him and his journey....at 13 he moved from Nigeria to Los Angeles...he grew up playing soccer and basketball - his high school didn't even have football. In 2021 he enrolled in East LA College and his size, natural footwork and athletic background helped him quickly transition to a sport brand new to him....and he quickly became the No.7 ranked junior college prospect in the nation. Transferring to Arizona State in 2023. He played some in 2023 with a few starts sprinkled in (at least 5) all at RT...but it was 2024 where Arizona State made the playoff run that a LOT of folks started noticing this raw athletic RT on the field just disrupting anything defenses threw at him. This year as of typing this he has yet to give up a sack or QB hit and ONLY 5 hurries. That is an efficiency of pass blocking reps of nearly 99%. And it hasn't been just nobody teams - Miss State, Baylor and TCU are in there (Texas St and N Arizona the others). If he continues to just be awesome in the coming stretch of games there is a really good chance I think he will be a lock for Day2 and his testing could push him higher than many think. Many might say why would we draft him....well IMO you never can have too many athletic big guys for the offensive line....yes Tom is our RT of the future UNLESS we (GB) decides you know what our strongest line in 2026 is Tom at Center and Belton at RT (or Max Iheanachor).....Rasheed is leaving and Morgan has shown he is solid on left side of the line but not as good on right side (RG better than RT)....but really GB has all the weapons locked down for a bit, offensively the OL will see Walker and Rhyan leave....Jenkins has struggled and Banks cannot stay healthy - is drafting an incredibly athletic, likely fully capable RG or RT now but would be special if not forced to start right away?
