Just a follow up post as to how these mentioned centers have faired... Jake Slaughter has actually been a little worse than I expected the last few games and I will say if he stays like this through end of the year good chance he lets go of the first center off board position...but I see him correcting ship as he is too smart and good of a center. Logan Jones Iowa's center is trending massively up and I am falling even more in love with him. He had a bit of a dip in his run blocking reps vs. Indiana but dude remains I think one of the best internal pass blocking centers in college football. His worst pass blocking game is a season best for many centers. Keep an eye on him folks...would be an AWESOME center and might be there with our 2nd rounder or as we all know sometimes centers that a legit starters are there in 3rd - 5th. I am guessing he would be by all team consensus a top 64 prospect for sure. Connor Lew Auburn's center has been very roller coaster like...Baylor and Texas A&M really spun him and pushed him around...but dude locked in against Ball State, S Alabama and Oklahoma. Lew needs to show up against some top flight teams or he might find himself as the third or fourth center on many boards when some said he was their top going into the season. FTR I've never had him that high. Since he was mentioned in the post Connor Tollison from Missouri...he is having a down year compared to his 2024, and I'm hoping he pulls it up some or he could be a clean Day3 projection IMO
