The league must be really banking on Rodgers signing with the Steelers. Not only are we playing them on Sunday night football, but they also scheduled the Steelers vs the Jets in week 1

The Jets matchup will be underplayed since he really only played one season there like Favre. The Packer matchup will be much more hyped. BUT you have to consider that Rodgers could get banged up before he plays us.

There's a couple things to set up that Steelers vs Jets game, not just Rodgers going from the Jets to Pittsburgh... Justin Fields is the Jets new QB, coming from Pittsburgh. So those guys are switching teams, plus the two were also division rivals before that at Chicago and Green Bay for a few years.

No doubt the Rodgers move from NY to Pittsburgh is the marquis attraction for that game being a week 1 matchup, otherwise it wouldn't be happening. This matchup is definitely the undercard to Packers Vs Steelers later in the season on Sunday night Primetime, but I'm sure Rodgers would really like to go 2-0 in those games, just for ego purposes.
