Just getting the thread ready for our "annual" Easter Egg Hunt in trying to piece the Packers schedule together before it is actually officially released on May 14th at 7pm.

I ran across this article today and while it is about Aaron Rodgers and him possibly becoming a Steeler, something that Florio said struck a cord with me.

Florio wrote. “And if the league knows Rodgers will be a Steeler, the Steelers could have their routine disrupted by multiple Sunday-to-Thursday turnarounds and night games and other kickoff times that deviate from the preferred rhythm of Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

So like myself, Florio knows that in setting schedules, specifically Prime Time games, the league can really screw up a teams "preferred rhythm". Yet, the NFL still chooses to do that, as long as it boosts their profits? What happened to a level playing field?

Get to go against ARod on the road.

The Steelers will be playing a game in Germany I believe. Originally, it was thought that it would be against the Packers. However, I guarantee you, if the NFL thinks Rodgers is going to play for the Steelers, that game will be in Pittsburgh.

I figure if ESPN can do a 3 hour show for the schedule release, the least that we as Packer fans can do, is to leak the Packers full schedule BEFORE the show starts. It's been a fun activity for some of us. I remember one year, there was an in image of the Packers supposed upcoming schedule circulating around. Turns out it wasn't real.

Florio could pick any topic and find a way to whine about it. Although guess the schedule release gives him something else to focus his attention on other than the prank phone calls. Dude was definitely asked if his refrigerator was running or if he had Prince Albert in a can when he was a kid.

Well in this case, I happen to agree with Florio. Schedule makers can put the importance of Prime Time games over fairness of scheduling to all teams.

I would never root for injury......
But if Rodgers goes to Pitt.....
He'll run into Da Monstahs in "his house"..

And he's right......it is his house and he does have the championship belt, but I wouldn't mind seeing him out of football.....the way we sent Brett Favre out of football.
No permanent injuries or anything like that....I just want his last game in Chi to be a loss by like 40..... I want retribution for the 15 years of absolute beat downs that he served us.......

It really breaks my heart that y'all blocked that field goal in Chicago last season because my quarterback should be undefeated against the Packers, but I will take undefeated at Lambeau.
Seriously I've been a Bears fan for 39 years since I was five yrso and got tossed off my daddy's lap during the Bears Patriots Super Bowl......and I don't think I've ever been able to utter that sentence irl.
It's a new day, new generation and new Chicago Bears gentlemen.....
LETS GET IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

........And yes, before somebody on here says it we did get the official notice in the mail from the NFL home office. We are the off-season champs once again for like the 18th year in a row.

The only Win Chicago could muster came against our backup QB, backup RB and our WR5. Had it not been for a late 4th Quarter, failed 2pt conversion? you would’ve still lost

Malik Willis, Malik Heath and Emmanuel Wilson were the leading Passer, RB and WR!

Our RB2 beat your RB1 and Our QB2 didn’t even play the entire game and was within 12 Yards of beating Caleb Williams with just 136 yards Passing!
Our B team beat your A Team in Passing, Rushing and over +140 Yards of cumulative Offense.

THAT is what Chicago is hanging their hat on?!

You have to wonder if the Steelers were truly interested he'd be signed by now. I suspect AR will wait until some team loses their starter to injury or else retire. I wonder how many GMs are leery of his baggage...

And the Steelers just traded Pickens to dallas for peanuts.

I think his legacy is extremely important to Rodgers, and I think he knows there's a good chance that he only has one more season to win that second ring. If he's truly waiting for some contender to lose their starting QB to injury, he's taking a huge chance.

There are only a handful of teams that are serious Super Bowl contenders, and sitting on his *** hoping one of them will break their quarterback is an enormous and frankly foolish gamble. He's no longer a guy who can carry a mediocre franchise on his back, but with the right team, I think he can still be a Top 10 QB - it's not a stretch to say that he could be the missing piece that Pittsburgh needs to become legitimate contenders. I think his chances with the Steelers are much better than the chance that one of 6 or 8 other contending teams will lose their quarterback after the season starts.
