Message: <blockquote data-quote="Heyjoe4" data-source="post: 1045482" data-attributes="member: 13032">Good observation.  I'm due for a shoulder replacement, probably next year.  Most of the people I know at the gym, men and women, have or had shoulder problems.To make it worse, if you need a shoulder replacement and you've had damage to the rotator cuff, the surgery is called "reverse total shoulder replacement".  That means the ball on top of the arm is cut off and a titanium ball is put on the end of the clavicle, and the top of the arm has the titanium socket that holds the ball.  It's a little ****** up as far as permanent recovery.  Apparently there are limitations in terms of shoulder mobility.I think I'm a candidate for a regular TSR with the titanium ball placed at the top of my arm.  None of it sounds like any fun.  I'm not even as concerned about the surgery as I am the recovery.  Will I have to sleep in a Lazy Boy for a month?  Don't know, but any info from people who have been through it would be appreciated.Sorry, I am way off topic.  Seemed like it was a topic of general interest.  To add a little football, I think the Packers handle the Jags today, 34-17.  That said, it's a perfect "trap game" set up with the Lions coming up next week.  I think the coaching is too good to let that happen.  And too many tough games coming up.  Gotta win the winnable games.  This is one of em.</blockquote>
