The Packers drafted K Chester Marcol in the 2nd round in 1972. He became Rookie of the Year and had a good run in GB. The role of Coach-GM was not too uncommon then. We really needed a FT GM. Lombardi was authoritarian and a workaholic. We should not have tried to replicate him. In hindsight I wish the Packers had hired young Joe Paterno as Tony Canadeo lobbied.</p></blockquote><p></p>
