Wanted to circle back to this OLD thread now that combine has happened and I've done a much deeper deep dive. Overall no one really moved down my board Burks, Williams*, Wilson, Olave, Dotson, London - The big 6 are still kinda the big six of course, but Pickens is now in there that he proved my health concerns are no longer warranted and I deep dived into his film that is out there. Out of this group of six + Pickens I actually think any of them would succeed and do well with Rodgers throwing the ball to them...my preference is Burks, Pickens and Olave though overall for us out of them. The "Big 6" aside here is just an overall list of some of my present favorites....testing and measurables could tweek this somewhat in coming weeks: David Bell - [S]1st Round Grade[/S] - downgraded to a 2nd round - his testing just cannot be ignored when you're looking for a massive lift to the WR room. I still strongly would embrace having him be our second WR picked or if a trade for a sure thing happens and then Bell is a second round guy brought in. Just a highly productive, knows how to move the chain guy that has done it year after year after year, he just isn't the explosive athlete I thought he was. Christian Watson - 2nd Round Grade - no change Watson despite coming out of North Dakota State, showed up big time in the Senior Bowl against "too good for him" competition. His size is just awesome standing at 6'5' and said to flirt with 4.40 speed this cat could be the steal of WRs this year IMO. I presently have him targeted as my #1 option of most likely 2nd round WRs we could have a shot at picking 59th. George Pickens - [S]2nd/3rd Round Grade[/S] - 1st Round Grade I already touched on why I'm higher now than I was initially, and even hinted at it in the OP. He's proven everything is fine and what this dude did to the SEC as an 18 year old kid was nothing short of amazing. Kyle Phillips - [S]2nd/3rd Round Grade[/S] - Upgraded to 2nd Round Grade Kyle Phillips is that route savvy multi placement WR that just wins. Love his route running abilities and thoroughly enjoyed watching him win in multiple ways when I deep dived him a little. Jalen Tolbert - [S]2nd/3rd Round Grade[/S] - Upgraded to a 2nd Round Grade Many know I've mocked him in the second quite a few times...and I'm still there and even thinking he is more firmly there than some. His route running is better than many give credit to. Romeo Doubs - [S]2nd/3rd Round Grade[/S] - Downgraded to a 3rd/4th Grade Doubs is worrying me...has chosen not to test and it appears the claim is a knee issue...his gameplay illustrates incredible speed, but when I came away from watching him more I always found myself more impressed with Carson Strong's placement of deep balls and/or the lack of play by the DB. Now could it be Doubs' subtle route finesse was the cause - possible...however I'm firmly in the camp of he is a 3rd/4th type guy rather than a 2nd/3rd. Alec Pierce - [S]4th/5th Round Grade[/S] - Upgraded to borderline 2nd Rounder He honestly got misjudged by me early....many times I initially just saw Ridder being Ridder and Pierce just taking advantage of it...however this cat has some route chops, now I'm not going to say his route tree is expansive because it isn't but the moves that he does do well are impressive and some of his one cut and up routes are flat nasty. Justyn Ross - [S]3rd/4th Round Grade[/S] - Downgraded 5th Rounder I don't dislike Ross, and some of his massively unimpressive measurables could be healing issues from his injuries but who knows. Either way, he's a coin flip. Highly productive at Clemson, uses his lean and body structure well in routes to make room which is good because his quick burst isn't going to do anything at the next level. A late round flyer that you hope grows into a Lazard type guy eventually. Charleston Rambo - [S]3rd/4th Round Grade[/S] - Mild Change 4th Rounder I already shared a ton of what he was able to do, and his measurables illustrated why he kept getting open with his 10 yard split of 1.53 and an impressive shuttle (not as elite as his split) this mid-sized WR from way of Miami could be an excellent complimentary receiver into the future for GB. I see him comfortable inside or outside. Jaquarii Roberson - 5th Round Grade - No Change Staying at this round grade. Jaquarii showed his measurables support how he's been so successful on the field for the Deacons....his 40 inch vertical, 10'11' broad, 4.13 shuttle and 8.26 20 yard split are all elite level type figures and from what I've watched illustrates a solid beginning to a route tree that has incredible promise in working his way open. Just reflections on the few guys I listed before.
