Love had a less successful college career then Hundley, had a less successful college career then Kizer. I actually like Kizer more than I like Love. People say Mahomes and I just laugh.. the better comparison is more like Josh Allen (who probably is more athletic than him). Mahomes is a once in a generation player. Lamar is a once in a generation player. Rodgers is a once in a generation player. Josh Allen is a run of the mill serviceable QB. I really can't think of one thing that Jordan Love does REALLY well that will translate to the next level. Poor eye discipline, and head scratching throws IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST somehow is going to translate to being a future star in the NFL? Keep hearing over and over again that he lost a lot of talent around him and that's why his production dropped and he regressed mightly.... news flash! this franchise hasn't helped one of the greatest QB's in NFL history with TOP END draft talent in years (Kinda wanna say the same with Favre for a lot of his career).. We as a franchise have chosen NOT to choose skill position players as a premium when it comes to drafting/free agency. So get used to it Jordan Love! Stole this from twitter (Ian Warton NFL Study)... below is charted every throw for the draft's top 7 QBs so far for catchable balls, and here are the results. Colors represent quartiles of 20 compared to this guys database of prospects since 2013. Green is top-20, yellow 20-40, orange 40-60, red 60-80. Some notable data comparisons: Burrow - tier of his own.. Tua - more refined Kyler.. Herbert - Wentz/Stidham (he's in the sea of mediocrity).. Hurts - Bortles/Paxton Lynch (they charted well).. Eason - lesser Dak/Daniel Jones.. Love - Chad Kelly/Josh Allen.. Fromm - Glennon/Luke Falk (oof)
