I sure hope Love can carry on and be our 3rd Hall of Fame quarterback. I'm ok with trading Rogers. I feel he might have given less than his best in the past few seasons.
I also agree that the best thing for GB in the long run is the success of Jordan Love. We have to move on. We could use the money being shelled out to Rogers to shore up lots of areas on our team.
We might have 3-4 more years of Rogers, but he is in decline. I do not see this as a win now move by Gute. I see it as damage control for a year or 2. Get Love ready and he will be good. We just need him to be good as soon as he can be. I think the injury residuals on Rogers results in...
Roger's looked rattled out there. He held the ball too long because the coverage was great. He has recovered from many injuries including both clavicles. Once injured, your healing doesnt restore limbs, bones to a pre-injury state. 2 broken clavicles, the last was his throwing arm requiring 13...
I give MLF credit for pulling Rogers. Rodgers is not "his"pick. Rogers was great and still is the best, but he has lost ability due to injury and age.
Rogers has proven himself. He hates getting hit at his age. I would too. We need him in one piece. I'm ok with him being rattled by pass rush.
We will never again see the 2011, 2012 Rogers in the present. We need to draft his replacement. He is still the best, but he is past his prime and rattles easily.
I think Rogers panics when he is being rushed. I feel the team focus is on his wellbeing. The focus is on not getting hurt. Holding onto the ball is a close 2nd focus, so the ball comes out. He looks worried on most plays. I'm for drafting someone like him or Favre in 2020. He is still the best...
I am not too worried about the Lions. They usually find a way to not win the division. I still think the Vikings are the team to beat, even with the clunker against the Bills. All the misinformation about favorites and history goes out the window the instant that kickoff is made.
