Just a quick thought. Not to stir the pot but anyone here think this offseason Aaron Jones might be looking for a new contract? Guy's been having a monster year and with players like L. Bell, Elliot getting paid this offseason he makes a case for his? Thoughts?
I agree, after one game we shouldn't be so quick to think Grant's going to get cut. But at the same time I wouldn't rule it out of the realm of possibility. If Grant doesn't show that he still has it after the injury then I don't see the Packers to actually keep him after 2012.
Nnamdi isn't Lebron, who knows IF Nnamdi is even thinking championship ring? He did resign with the Raiders after his rookie contract was up knowing the team was in shambles.....
Not necessarily, I think the Packers go one more preseason before trading Flynn. Here's the rationale, they have to see how well Graham Harrell or some other QB that they bring in via FA or draft performs in order to be safe with letting them become the No. 2 QB. Then they'll entertain trade...
1. Totally agree with, it's not like any of the three have been doing bad so far.
2. After extending Tramon Williams I doubt TT spends any more money at DB which is why I doubt Bigby is back next season, even at a fair price.
3. He wouldn't necessarily screw up the locker room. Asomugha is a...
Interesting numbers longtimefan. It's definitely true that when we keep our penalties down and manage to convert most of our third down, the game is ours. Looking in terms of a broader scope, I think these are the things that are deemed "mental errors." That seems to always be our achilles heel...
For now it did. Rodgers had a lot of pressure to win his first playoff game, now it's on to winning his first ever superbowl. If he handles the pressure again the same way he did for this game, I have no doubt he can handle anything.
It wouldn't hurt to bring this guy in just to see if he'd be interested. Like most people already said, it would be more of a luxury at best. Still I'd like to see how far the Sam Shields "experiment" continues into next season.
What I love about the kid is that he has great vision. If he finds a crease, even the slightest one he'll run towards it. With the condition of our o line not being able to create many running lanes, Ingram would be a very solid prospect.
I wouldn't say he is completely overrated but hes very inconsistent. After watching some game tape I found thats he's not very good against the run and only takes advantage as a pass rusher when he gets a free release. Other than that hes just your average LB. I wouldn't take him until round 3.
