    Our defense now...

Yes, TT also drafted...Harrell, Hawk, Matthews & Raji BOTH in round 1. Drafting excessive defense gets boring. Think back to being a kid, the same excitement is not there the way it is when you draft an offensive skill position like WR or RB. Another thing, when he did get Nelson (second round...

So, lots of offensive picks this year.

You should read the Vikings/Bearers forums...they are happy that Rodgers didn't get any new weapons. Pack fans need to stand up and admit the offense at RB and WR could use improvement.

TT Drafting For Need: Good Thing?

The Vikings/Bearers forums are all VERY happy with TT's job as well. The overriding theme, "Rodgers didn't get any new weapons". Yes, TT's picks are PANDERING to the rivals.

    KNIGHT THEORY 2012

Immediate offensive impact = SKILL position. RB, WR, TE. Thompson has never drafted one of these positions during his tenure in Round 1. That cannot be denied. I have address Rodgers several times...good pick, yet he wasn't going to play for 3 years and everyone knew that. TT refuses to draft...

Thompson and the 2012 NFL Draft

They call you guys "cheeseheads" for a reason. The reason I haven't been banned - is because some of the moderators agree with KNIGHT THEORY. "TT always overlooks immediate offensive impact".

TT Drafting For Need: Good Thing?

He exclusively drafts defense...and the defense still has problems every year. Refuses to address runningback or receiver. You can tell Rodgers gets pissed after so many dropped passes that are perfect spirals right on the money.

    KNIGHT THEORY 2012

The drafts since the TT days have always been focused around defense. Going back to Harrell. Drafting Matthews and Raji in the first round... Enough is enough. Yes, he's picked enough offense in late rounds to offset this (treats it like a crapshoot) - but the lion's share of "big money" picks...

    Everyone happy?

    Lamichael James

TT could have had him. Remember Knight's Theory. Offense is always second.

    KNIGHT THEORY 2012

I repeat, TT will never draft an immediate offensive weapon in the first round. It's going to prove itself true again this year. I am predicting the future for you. I don't care about rounds 2-7.

    KNIGHT THEORY 2012

As I've said before, during his tenure, TT has never drafted an immediate offensive-impact type player in the first round. Rodgers did not play for 3 years, and everyone knew this. He did draft both Raji and Matthews 2009. He would never do that with offense. It's simple "Thompsonomics"...

    KNIGHT THEORY 2012

If you really believe that, you may need glasses or an updated lens prescription. The receivers are run-of-the-mill. Driver is nearing 40 (was a good receiver), Jones has never been very dangerous to begin with. Jennings is a solid receiver, and Nelson is developing into a credible threat...

    KNIGHT THEORY 2012

Correct. For years now. With the exception of Rodgers (who didn't play for 3 years), TT has never drafted a marquee offensive skill position in the first round. He does this - knowing by picking enough players eligible to play professionally, one or two will turn out better than...
