I am proud of this team this year. Key injuries to key starters. Rookies played well and have gained experience. A few coaching modifications possibly. Another draft as successful as this year, stay a little healthier and the future could bode well.
Sure I'm disappointed but this team left it...
Seems like the opposite would ring true. If a safety misses on three plays the rest of the team either tries to pick him up or eventually quits playing hard. If one or two guys are having a good streak I think some positive emotion can have an effect, at least in the effort.
Is Bryant worth both Nelson's and Cobb's salary combined. He will get close to that soon. Besides, we already know how this team performs if AROD goes down. I would not make the trade, and that does not even consider attitude and locker room presence.
I believe incentive laden goals must go along with a big $ contract. Some guys don't need or want tens of millions. A lot of us could set ourselves up quite nicely with a couple mil to work with. Offer guys the $ as they produce. I seem to remember it worked nicely with somebody this year!
I really think Rodgers wants to play. This game is still for a division championship. He has heart.
The powers that be may feel differently.
If he doesn't play, and we win, than what?
