This is a tradition that I started on the Panthers' Forum last year about this time when Carolina was staring up at a mountainous task to make the playoffs. It darn near worked for us... you have to think outside of the box: Dolphins to beat Falcons (always pull for AFC vs. NFC) Panthers to beat Bucs (both at 5-2 and w/only 1 NFC loss. And we like the Panthers better... right) Queens to beat Lions (that stings a little - want NFC North to come back to you) Saints to beat Bears (always other teams vs. NFC North unless we start fighting for a wild card) Giants to beat 49ers (you want the division leaders to run away and all others to get beat up) Seahawks to beat Arizona (see Giants/49ers - AZ & SF would drop to 2-6 and you'd leap frog Zona and tie the 49ers based on NFC wins) PACK to beat Steelers sans Roethlisberger (given no matter who you play) Philly to beat Washington (identical records, but Washington has more NFC wins) IF this happens (or most of it), your chances SIGNIFICANTLY improve. You guys will make this year's playoffs... I'm confident. Oh and on the rule to pull for division leaders to run away with their division... YOU MUST pull for Carolina in the South. It's required. Good Luck! AFC vs. AFC has no bearing what-so-ever. But the rest gives you something of interest for every Sunday when your team is struggling.
