Injury report; McCarthy speaks Coach Mike McCarthy is scheduled to address the media shortly. As usual, we'll have the newsworthy stuff here as it comes. First, here's the full injury report: S Atari Bigby (hamstring) DNP, T Chad Clifton (hamstring) limited, FB Korey Hall (knee) limited, CB Al Harris (spleen) out, LB A.J. Hawk (groin) limited, DE Jason Hunter (hamstring) DNP, WR James Jones (knee) DNP, RB Kregg Lumpkin (hamstring) limited, DE Michael Montgomery (ankle) DNP, DT Ryan Pickett (knee) limited, QB Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) limited, S Aaron Rouse (knee) limited, CB Charles Woodson (toe) DNP. UPDATE: DE Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila was added to the injury report after getting sick during practice. * On Montgomery: Has a "pretty good sprained ankle." Will be a challenge to play this week. Plan is to rehab as much as can today and Thursday, and will be reassessed Friday. "Slight potential" can practice Friday, but most likely a Sunday workout guy. Jeremy Thompson will be active this week. * On Hunter: Not as close as thought. Was hopeful would be back this week. Could practice Friday after re-evaluation. * On Rodgers: Sore on Tuesday. Rehab hard again today. See where he is Thursday morning. Plan was to throw some Thursday, but that's up in air now. * On decision on Tracy White being released: "We just wish Tracy the best. He's definitely a player I was very fond of." Danny Lansanah, who replaced White on the roster, will be active this week. * On Lansanah: Like Lumpkin, when had opportunity, he produced. Lansanah was "on the doorstep" in the final cuts. Think they're similar, will keep progressing. Has ability to play all three linebacker spots. For game plan this week, only working at one spot. * Approach this week: Done share of yelling. Trying to be brutally honest. Staying on top of both positives and negatives. "It's not where we want to be. Who wants to lose three games in a row? But the important thing is Seattle." * On Seahawks: Had couple tough games, both on East Coast. Battled injuries. Expects "one of those knock-down, drag-out type of games." * On slow starts: Won't change way prepare. No reason to say have to change approach -- nothing wrong with it. "Flatness ... I think that's convenient. I think they played better than we did the first quarter. ... That was a term I got after them with." But saw effort on film, just not execution. "We need to stay on top of reality and clean up our house." * On offensive line: Want to get healthy. No excuses, but thing about being healthy runs through whole program. Things not as clean as would like. Want to stay clean to approach. Spitz, Colledge being challenged by playing positions during the week they're not playing on Sundays. Have talked about sitting Clifton for a week to get him healthy, but right now, still trying to get him ready for Seattle. * On playing at Seattle with Rodgers limited in practice: Practice reps will help Rodgers. "The thing with injuries is not really the 45-man roster ... it's getting everybody ready (in practice)." Opponent teams aren't as good. Tough to get continuity, rhythm. Doesn't see the need for big changes.
