RIP Chapecoense Players and Staff

Brazilian Serie A team Chapecoense has lost most of its players and staff in a devestating plane crash on the way to Colombia for a match.

Originally 6 survivors, including one of the team's defenders, but it has been reported on of the survivors has died from injuries.

Two players confirmed to have survived at the moment. The team's goalkeeper is the one who was found alive but later died from injury.

Terrible news. Unfortunately, air crash fatalities involving sports teams have occurred more frequently than we would ever want to believe.
