The 49ers lost a 5th round pick for doing so. That would certainly be worth it from the Packers point of view if they could improve a comp pick in ’13 to a first or second rounder in the upcoming draft. But I agree with those who say that’s not Thompson’s style. So IMO the Packers wouldn’t stretch the rules like some teams but they could still engage in hypotheticals. </span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma'"><span style="color: #000000">Tom Silverstein and Peter King both have written Finley’s deal makes a tag and trade of Flynn more likely.
