As many bad things as I just named though they make up for it with the Matthew Stafford- Calvin Johnson duo. For some reason this team just can't seem to keep it together though. Stole Shea McClellin from the Packers in the 1st. And is putting him at DE, where he is tremendously undersized for and will be strictly a pass rush specialist this year.
Not sure I worded the title right... But you guys get the point. Who do you think the Packers biggest threat in defending their division title will be this year? Since I like lists, I'll make mine into a list. #3- Minnsesota Vikings- (4th place), 3-13 last year. Don't think they'll be much improved next year if at all. Ponder will get more experience but beyond that I think it will be tough. We'll see how fast and how good AP comes back at who is always scary. Never understood Percy Harvin only playing half the snaps last year. He will get more this year by the looks of it. In the draft they got Kalil who will be a beast but as we've seen in Miami, Drafting OL early won't result in a change in record. (Jake Long) Not sold on Harrison Smith. Josh Robinson and Darius Wright are yet to be determined. Threat- Mild Predicted Record- 6-10 #2- Detroit Lions- (2nd place), 10-6 last year Ahh. How an off-season can change things. Went from being the top threat to the Packers I thought and 7 arrests later, their not. Really reckless team with Suh's stomps, 7 arrests, Best's silly putty brain, oft injured Leshoure, old Kevin Smith and a bad secondary. As many bad things as I just named though they make up for it with the Matthew Stafford- Calvin Johnson duo. For some reason this team just can't seem to keep it together though. They had a good draft. They got Bryan Bulaga-- I mean Riley Rieff in the 1st and Ryan Broyles in the 2nd. I thought Ronnell Lewis in the 4th, If he stays healthy is a steal. Threat- Medium Predicted Record- 9-7 #1- Chicago Bears- (3rd place), 8-8 last year. Da Bears...Would of gave Detroit a real run for their money last year had Cutler not been injured in my opinion. The additions of Marshall, Weems and Bush should help too. Marshall gives them a legit number one receiver they haven't had since... ever. Weems is a special teams star when he isn't fumbling like tonight and Bush should help where Forte (Now happy with a new restructured contract) struggles- goal line rushes. Neglected the O Line again this year for some reason?? Then promoted their O Line coach to Offensive Coordinator. Expect Cutler to get knocked around this year again too. Had an average draft. Stole Shea McClellin from the Packers in the 1st. And is putting him at DE, where he is tremendously undersized for and will be strictly a pass rush specialist this year. Got the huge WR Alshon Jeffery in the 2nd. He's a big target who will be hard to cover as long as he keeps his weight in check. Threat- High Predicted Record- 11-5 Long article. Thanks for reading. Interested to hear what you all think!
