NFL 2023 weekly prediction contest week 3

ALL are welcome to play along!!

Guess the score of each team of each game...
Each game you pick the correct winner of: 5 points
If you pick correctly on at least half the games scheduled for the week earns a 20 points bonus
If you pick correctly on at least 75% of the games earns a 40 point bonus (plus the previous 20 points)
If you get all but one of the games correct nets 100 bonus points (plus the 20 & 40 from above)
Guess right on all the games and enjoy a free 150 points (plus the previous 24, 40 & 100)
And ..... If you guess both the correct winner and score of any game: 125 bonus points tacked on for each correct game.
If you've got incredibly mad skills and happen to guess every correct score of every game: you get a mega jackpot of 5000 points.

Edited rule clarification: I am OK with posting just the Thursday game and then replying to (not editing) it later in the week with the rest of the picks.

These TNF games make it challenging. You never know who is going to play Sunday until maybe Saturday. Like Jones, Bahk, and Watson. Had we knew they would have been out how many of us would have picked the Pack Sunday?

I hate putting out a one score covers all, but it's the only way you can actually compete in this game. It's a matter of getting lucky, not actually doing a good job of score prediction.

When I started last year, I was picking them individually, and not getting anywhere. Then, one week, I didn't have time to actually predict each score, so I picked the winners and used a blanket score. I hit one correct. The following week I decided to do it again. I hit again. I figured if you can't beat 'em join 'em.

I don't really take any pride in getting one right using this method, but if you want to compete, you gotta do what works. I had no idea that 27-20 was that bad of a combo to be honest with you. I probably wouldn't have picked those numbers if I knew it. Thanks for the heads up. Next week will be different. Unless this one works for me, and I get a couple right.

Scores were a lot more predictable years ago. A safety and now a missed PAT or two can throw the marbles all out. One thing for sure in the pro game is that we can never predict a 1-0 score....Unless maybe it is a forfeit.
