I think Cobb and Bulaga are arguably the most talented at their respected positions. You could certainly argue that Cobb is THE best at his position, while Bulaga is simply "one" of the best. Cobb can work as a WO, slot, RB and returner, versatility not often seen or perfected as Cobb has done. That being said, look at the games we played when Bulaga was injured and out for an extended period of time. We weren't as crafty and Rodgers went on his *** way more. He, even at his age, is the leader of that offensive line and without him they lose a significant chunk of their armor. When healthy Bulaga is a rare talent that can't easily be found, and having him in significantly aids in Cobb being used as a flanker to Arod. Losing either one of them would be a tough pill to swallow, but I would give a very slight nod to securing Bulaga over Cobb knowing that our offense would only lose a notch off our fire-power belt, instead of a notch off our basic practices belt- and basic practices are essential to continuity. What I don't understand is why Letroy Guion is in the same grouping as these two. If the source I read today is at all accurate, why is it more essential to sign a nose who, granted had a decent year, is coming off pretty disconcerting off the field issue? Not to mention Guion is no guarantee to step up again, we saw how inconsistent he was in Minnesota.
