TT has been pretty stellar so far picking players in the first round. So far he has picked Rodgers, Hawk, Harrell, Raji, Matthews, Bulaga, and Sherrod. The only bonafide bust was Justin Harrell. Say what you want about Hawk, but he's been a solid starter since he was drafted which is more than you can usually say about a lot of 1st round picks. Sherrod it's too early to figure out if he's going to be a good player. However, going back to the 1980 draft, Green Bay has had more success selecting first round picks the lower we drafted. We had a 50% success rate for picks in the #1-#10 slots, 58% in the #11-#21 slots, and 75% in the #22-#32 slots for an overall first round average of 61%. At the top of the first round you find more of the Tony Mandarich/Brent Fullwood/Terrell Buckley/Rich Campbell picks versus at the bottom you find more of the George Teague/Nick Barnett/Ross Verba/Craig Newsome type of picks. The point of all this is to say that I think that picking towards the end of the 2012 should be a good thing for Green Bay, if history has an bearing on things!
