I see where you're coming from in regards to Pat Lee. He has a lot of potential but we're never going to see that if he keeps staying on the IR list. IMO Lee is as much a bust as Justin Harrell and like Harrell, Lee will have to show what he's got this season or it's the waiver wire for him. I don't think that you're giving Brandon Underwood the benefit of the doubt. Yes he hasn't shown much in the NFL, but how can he if he's been only playing for 1 season? Towards the end and in the playoffs he's been vastly improving and he might be this year's surprise player. From what I see on tape, his awareness in space is much better and his ability to read the play in front of him is coming along. Just give him 1 offseason and you'll see what he can do. I'm not saying that he'll be a solid No. 1 corner but someone you can bring in if there's an injury to a starter. Now on to Pacman. You're absolutely right in that he should be given a second chance. Mike Vick was given a second chance and I think he did admirably. Did he become an instant playmaker? No, but he did well enough to show that he can be trusted? Definitely. So I think Pacman righteously deserves his own fair share as well. One thing I do have a problem with is that you said when he was drafted he took the NFL by storm. He is a solid Returner, no doubt about that but wasn't he drafted to play CORNER? The Titans loved his return abilities but hated his on the field performance. I know he had a solid 2nd year but none of suggests that he's a "superb" corner. And by definition if he isn't good enough to play his drafted position, wouldn't that make him a bust? Anyway before we all get too ahead of ourselves here the GBPG looked into this and found that no actual Packers personnel had contacted Jones. However Jones' agent called the Packers. The Packers meanwhile, never returned his phone calls. So there you go, when Pacman had been in contact with the Packers it meant that HE called THEM. And the fact that they never responded shows you how much interest we really have.
