Here is mine. I used a local framing shop and it cost around $90. But I got it double matted and archival glass (no-glare, UV blocking). And I got a wood frame which costs more.
I'd dispute the charge with your credit company. It might light a fire under Wells Fargo and if they find in your favor you could try just ordering another share of stock.
I just dropped mine off at a local framing company last night. Pre-tax will be around $90. But it is getting double matted, UV-blocking no glare glass, nice cherry frame and I don't have to worry about getting everything centered or avoiding fingerprints on the inside of the glass. I want...
Well the proxy card is for people who can't come to the share holder meeting in July. I'd assume they send all those out at once rather than ones now for the new shareholders and again in the summer for current shareholders.
I agree. I understand people being frustrated. I know I was when I saw that the second certificate didn't have my grandparents' names on it. But I also realize that we Packer fans are so enthusiastic that things probably ended up being a little crazier than the Packers, Mellon, and Wells...
Well good news then that my grandparents should (assuming no issues) get their actual certificate. It just means I get to open the already wrapped wrong certifcate and re-wrap the correct one then.
So I got my stock certificates on Tuesday and I've mentioned that the put by name on my certificate and the one for my grandparents.
So this morning I got an e-mail from UPS Choice that I have a package being delivered today from Wells Fargo. I'm wondering if this is a corrected one? I...
I definitely think the volume surprised them. In 1997 I believe they sold around 120,000 shares over the entire offering. This time they sold 185,000 in two days. That is a lot of processing. Yes, I wish things had gone more smoothly and they had put my grandparents' names on the certficate...
One option is to get it custom framed. Most craft places, such as JoAnn Fabric, will do custom framing and you can usually find coupons. Not the cheapest or fastest option but you could do more customization and really get what you want.
I agree. Not sure how it happened and really wish it hadn't.
So all she told you to do was send in one of the certificates with a note explaining the issue? That is pretty much what I was planning on doing but I wasn't sure if I should send in just one of the certificates or both.
I had something similar happen. Ordered one for me and one for my grandparents. Both certificates arrived yesterday in separate packages and both have my name and address on it. I would have thought that they put the shipping address rather than the registration address but it has my middle...
Oh, I know it won't get fixed in time for Christmas. I just need to make sure that the issue is only with the certifcate. It is one thing if they just put the wronge name and address on, it is another if I am registered as owning two shares and my grandparents own none.
