And he declined an invitation to be at the draft to remain with family instead. Supposedly he will be in Green Bay tonight, though.

The offseason has been bashed badly...until the last week, proving what I have said all along, Free Agency isnt a 2-week process.

Add a good draft(good start) and you got yourself a good team.

It was a good pick. It certainly filled a need and I believe he is going to be an impact player right away. Had we been able to sign Arrington, it opened up a chance to take Davis. Not taking Leinert sends me two possible messages: 1) Favre may play more than one more year... 2) Rogers is better than we have been led to believe.

3) The Pack had Hawk higher on their draft board.

4) The Pack don't wanna invest more money into the QB position without giving Rodgers a chance to prove himself.
