THE SKINNY
Bucs, Packers eyeing Woodson
<Mar. 29> Woodson is scheduled to arrive in Green Bay this weekend for an official visit, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Woodson, a four-time Pro Bowl cornerback, has already visited the Bucs, who have indicated they would use Woodson at safety.
"This guy is a good football player," Packers GM Ted Thompson said. "And whether he's a corner or a tackle or whatever, if he's a good football player, we talk about it. We spend hours talking about these guys and sometimes we bring them in for a visit and see how that goes."

Woodson made $10.5 million last year after being named the Raiders' franchise player for the second consecutive season.

THE SKINNY
Faine trade in the works?
<Mar. 29> The Eagles and Packers have emerged as two possible suitors for Faine, the Delaware County Daily Times is reporting.
The Browns gave Faine permission to seek a trade after signing free-agent center LeCharles Bentley. Faine, the 21st overall pick in the 2003 draft, is scheduled to earn $550,000 this season. His contract runs through 2009.

THE SKINNY
Texans targeting Moulds
<Mar. 29> The Seahawks inquired about Moulds on Monday, bringing the number of teams interested in the disgruntled wide receiver up to six, reports the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
Philadelphia is believed to be Moulds' destination of choice, but it's doubtful the Eagles would be willing to meet Moulds' asking price, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Texans head coach Gary Kubiak thinks Moulds would be a perfect fit for his offense, and has been aggressively pursuing a trade.

Moulds, unwilling to accept a pay cut to stay in Buffalo, has been given permission by the Bills to seek a trade. Before he can be moved, however, a team would have to negotiate a new contract with the 32-year-old. Moulds, who is scheduled to make $7.1 million this season, is looking for a deal similar to the one Isaac Bruce received from the Rams (three years, $15 million).
