[QUOTE="elcid, post: 771231, member: 12360"] I agree with most of the posts above. Getting an edge guy in Landry seems like the most natural thing to do. However considering the state of our CB situation I'd still feel like drafting a top CB is the need. Really hope that either James or Fitzpatrick drops, but I still deem it highly unlikely. I don't like the idea of trading up a few spots and spending some of the higher late round picks that we have while having so many holes. Especially since trading up will mean that it will probably be for either one of those guys and they are not even the type of DB we really need. Or for Ward, yet some argue that he is not the most talented CB in this draft. The other premier CB's after Ward (Jackson, Hughes, Alexander) are often mocked to go between the 20th and 30th pick. These guys (and Oliver) to me have all similar amounts of potential. I might actually ache more to Hughes/Alexander/Oliver, and at least 1, if not 2 will still be available at the bottom end of the first round. As of yet I'd really like the Pack to trade back about 10 spots and amass some draft capital. A great CB is still going to be on the board (Hell, Landry might still be there - at 23 he is probably gone though) and we just got an extra extra weapon for Rodgers in the second. If we are staying put, taking into account the players that are realistically going to be there, the pick has to be Landry or Jackson. I'd really wish that the Packers signed Breeland though. I'd feel so much more confident going into the draft and announcing that Harold Landry will become a citizen of Green Bay, knowing that a good CB prospect is still to be had for our second pick and plenty of serviceable ones for our later picks.
