It was about one month ago when we posed the question- "Does James Jones lack chemistry with Aaron Rodgers?"

That speculation was dead wrong- or at the very least something changed.

Jones may not be a reader of the Packer Forum but he has enjoyed quite a bit of success since that article was posted on September 18th.

After two games Jones had recorded six catches on 11 targets with a touchdown. He was particularly absent against the Bears Week 2, when he caught two passes for negative one yard.

In the six games since, Jones has caught 30 passes and 5 TDs. On the season he now has 7 TDs on 36 catches for 401 yards. He is tied for the NFL lead in touchdown receptions.

Wednesday Aaron Rodgers was asked about the elevated play of Jones.

"I think the way he's playing has a direct correlation to the way he's practicing," Rodgers said Wednesday via CBS Sports.

"He's making a lot of those plays in practice; he's got improved practice habits, and I think that confidence that he's getting in practice -- getting more balls thrown his way because he's been working hard -- is transferring to the game. He's getting more opportunities and making the most of them."

Rodgers said Jones most impressive catch of the season was against Houston-a 23-yard one-handed grab for a touchdown which can be seen in video form here.

With the loss of Greg Jennings, who will have surgery this week on his abdomen and may not return until late in the season; and with the prospect that Jordy Nelson could possibly miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury-Jones is the guy at the wide out position for the time being and has been invaluable to this Packer team.

Randall Cobb has played excellent as well.

During the Packers three-game winning streak, Cobb has caught 20 passes for 219 yards and 3 TDs. On the season, Cobb has 42 receptions for 463 yards and 4 TDs on the season. His 42 receptions rank 11th best among all NFL players this season.
