P@ck is partially hitting on something here - which has been chewed over constantly for the last month.. It takes a TEAM to win the Trophy. 1) Did Sherman tend to leave Brett just sitting over on the bench (alone) quite often?
Answer: YES
2) Did Sherman bother to question Brett about what he's seeing out on the field?
Answer: NO
3)Was Mike Holmgren ever so isolating towards his Quarterback?
Answer: NO
Now ------- Would Mike Sherman profit from imitating Mike Holmgren when it comes to interaction with the Quarterback - (no matter who he may be) - no matter which Team he's the Head Coach for?
Most Definitely --- YES
Count this along with a Fritz Shurmur (I don't need to micro manage your butt) Defense... and we have the stuff which takes us over to the Top --- Does this mean that possibly Tom Rossley would be less "in charge"...? Aaaah, who cares.... He's had four years to show us how little he cares for the Star QB of this Team. Sherman has already alluded to stepping into the Shoes as what Brett saw Holmgren wearing... so, the comfort zone should increase greatly.. and with that... the frustration factor of all other NFC North Teams combined. Mariucci will have to wait until Brett retires. Tice (?) will get fired over his in-ability to beat the Packers... And, da Bears (???) - Well, I don't think we really need to re-hash their lack of success with Brett Favre do we? After all, all of the best stats at Soldier Field are OWNED by BRETT FAVRE! :-?
