Why Are "Professional" Football Players So Bad at Tackling?

Tackling is such a fundamental part of the game of football yet professional players seem so bad at it most of the time. Nobody wraps up, puts there head on the right side of the body, drives through the ball carrier, etc. The Bengals game was a great example of **** poor tackling skills.

I didn't see the game but if the Bengal's running back gained 141 yards, I would say our defense stunk up the place. As for missed tackles, professionals can screw up like high school and college players; fundamentals not executed.

it wasnt just a few times of missed tackles...It was a common occurrence ALL game

Maybe cause guys in the NFL don't give you a lot of opportunities to tackle like that. And with our D, they usually get hurt anytime they make a freaking tackle.
