Now Brady says he had not decided to retire when AS broke the news. That means either Brady is lying or Schefter was lying and he was just guessing or his source was wrong. Either way, since Brady did retire there will be no repercussions on Schefter. If he had no source and he was lying and guessing no biggie, he did retire so he guessed right. You're not going to get Adams involved in a sign and trade either because why would the Titans want Adams when they already have Brown who himself is going to get a huge payday soon. At this point if I'm going to pay them the same amount of money I think I'd rather have Brown. He's younger.
I'd take AJ Brown if I had to. I know I know, they ain't signing Aaron Rodgers and trading away AJ Brown. It makes no sense I'm just sayin I'd take him. Another example of the media making **** up with no repercussion if they are wrong. You are going to say "but he was right, Brady did retire" but was he really right or did he just guess correctly? There is a difference. Schefter reported that his inside source said Brady had decided to retire. Being right would mean that Brady had actually decided to retire and told someone who told Schefter. If his source was wrong, again no biggie because TB retired. However, Brady's retirement doesn't change the fact that Schefter may have been wrong with his initial report. No way would they give up that much IMO. Lose the first rounder next year and maybe but like I said before I doubt they are going to trade for Rodgers and give up Brown. Julio maybe. You're not going to get Adams involved in a sign and trade either because why would the Titans want Adams when they already have Brown who himself is going to get a huge payday soon. At this point if I'm going to pay them the same amount of money I think I'd rather have Brown. He's younger.
