Offseason signing. He played some WR at college but not for a few years. He was a track star in college. Ultra fast, expected to compete for a return job. With some of the draft picks today it seems doubtful he will make the team.

I remember the Garrett Cross signing. I think he was most likely cut in preseason last year and may have just been signed again? I'm not sure.

We acquired him through FA.

He used to run track at KU (class of 04). Bookman hasn't played football since the 2002 season, when he quit the Jayhawks team to focus on track. He won three NCAA titles in the 200 meters and clocked one of the fastest 200 times in the world.

In November, Bookman received a public warning from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency for testing positive for a banned substance that can be used only with prior medical approval, which the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Bookman did not have, according to published reports."

This guy ran the 200 meters. He tested positive for a banned substance and is no longer sanctioned to participate.

Hasn't played football in years. Camp body who will be cut before season starts.

Actually, Gross was signed last year, as he is great friends with A-Rod (same school, and A-Rod was discovered by Coach Tedford while he was on a scouting trip to watch Gross). Gross quit last year because he said he didn't believe his passion for football was where it should be at. But he came back out of retirement this off-season to give it another go.

IF ONLY he had good enough football skills to be a KR/PR to along with his trackstar speed he would be a huge weapon. But he doesnt.
