Who can or can't we risk on the Practice Squad?

After reading multiple prediction of the final 53, I've realized that we can't keep all of our quality talent on the final roster. Then again we can always place them on the practice squad but risk letting another team snatch them up for ex. Meredith, Brohm last season. So who do you guys think we can or can't risk on the practice squad? And I mean players who can't make it due to an overcrowded depth chart and not someone obvious like Bryan Bulaga. For me we can risk Graham Harrell if he manages to win that 3rd QB spot. No other team than Green Bay was willing to take him in this offseason so I doubt anybody would be interested later on.

CJ Wilson is a guy who will be snatched up if we expose him on the practice squad.
So what that means, IMO, is that if Harrell somehow magically stays healthy thru the off-season and training camp, and gulp, pre-season, then we are going to have one too many guys on the roster for DL.

#1- Jenkins
#2- Pickett
#3- Raji
#4- Neal
#5- Jolly
#6- Harrell
#7- Wilson
#8- Jarius Wynn

We will only keep 6 on the 53-man roster, so there's great depth, but tough decisions. Jolly probably will be suspended to start the season, or even behind bars even. I like Jarius Wynn, but Wilson has better size and skills IMO.

If Jolly was able to stay free & clear, I'd like to deal the big gangsta for a draft pick or punter.

Marshall Newhouse is a guy that cannot be put on the PS because he'll be gone in 60 seconds. Guy doesn't have the sclupted body that his brutha Jamon Meredith had, but he's a better player. I'm sure Teddy won't risk putting Marshall Marshall Marshall on the practice squad.

I really can't wait to see this WR plucked down from Canuck Country, even though I can't remember his name ever yet..... too many concussions!

I'm saying this all along! Dump Jarrett Bush! The queens don't even look at the players, man! They just take the ones we dump! It would be quite the greek's gift!!!

If we dump Bush and even the queens don't take him then that just shows you how bad this guy really is.

If we lose another one of our draft picks due to TT keeping Justin Harrell on the roster instead of a young guy with promise like cj wilson, I will join the TT Hater-Wagon. His management of the practice squad is one thing you can point too and say hey TT get your **** together.

I would make sure that none of the 7 guys we drafted this year get put on the Practice Squad. You cant keep drafting guys and then giving them to other teams for free, it's bad management style. Guys like jarret bush, Justin Harrell, can GO, if they dont want to fight for a practice squad spot, then they can get the hell out of GB Can't stand players that dont give their all, Your in the fricken NFL, show some effort and heart. I'm not holding out any hope that HArrell turns it around, like some of you do, the man is a bust. Also If TT rocks 3 FB's on the roster again he is a ****ING IDIOT!!!!!!! x25 who the hells needs 3 fb's? keep on of the fricken Practice squad and call him up if you need him. NO ONE NEEDS 3 FB's EVEN IF YOU ONLY RUN THE BALL U ONLY NEED 2 AT MOST. I also feel like Breno G, and A, Barbre, can go down to the practice squad, not fan's of these guys, physical talent doesnt always translate to football talent.

How does everyone think about putting Quareless on the practice squad? I know the kid has a lot of upside but the other 3 TEs have big play ability as well.

I dont see a reason not to keep 6 DE and just rotate Pickett and Raji at NT thats alot of d-linemen but think of the havoc those guys can create! you have Jolly and Harrell in on running downs then you can rotate Jenkins, Neal, Wilson, and Wynn in on passing downs with Raji bringing the heat from up the middle.

I was thinking about that. Most teams are scared of his off-field problems. Well, except the Bengals, but they already got their share of TEs...

I think he can be better than Lee, I don't really like Lee, but if anyone can go to the PS, it's him.

I don't think Lee is eligible for the practice squad anymore. However I was thinking that maybe we can cut/trade Lee and keep 2 TEs on the active roster with Finley and Havner. Quarless would be on the practice squad. I know not everyone would like the idea of keeping only 2 TEs on the active roster but it allows us to have 3 solid players on the team while freeing up a roster spot for a depth-needed position like the D-line, CB or OLB.

I wasn't talking about Lee being on the PS. I was talking about Quarless surpassing Lee in the depth chart...
