However a backup QB can have a profound impact as we’ve seen recently around the league. With just 1 year of experience I’m not ready to rule Kizer a lost cause just yet, he may be ready to make that performance leap to “serviceable” this year. We’re not the only team who’s thorough evaluation merited giving Kizer a run around the track. I’m not seeing enough progression from the candidates in question to think I’m going to really miss the others.. I’d take Kizer because we don’t really have much of an option behind him.</blockquote>
