Wow. These are all really great stories!! Awesome thread idea. My favorite memory might have to be the only Packer game I've actually been to. November 21, 2004 against the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium (Sunday Night Game). I told my dad in the off-season that the Packers are playing in Texas and that we should get tickets ASAP. Of course, my father said he'd get to it "eventually." We never bought the tickets ahead of time. So as gameday approaches, we decide we'll head down there on Sunday afternoon and hope we get lucky and find some ticket scalpers. I remember seeing the stadium miles away. That stadium is huge!! So we get there around 3 or so and start looking for tickets. Every time we found someone that had tickets, their asking price was way over our budget. After nearly 3 hours of searching we were ready to abandon all hope and head back home. I was so depressed. I remember just laying down in the back seat, not saying a word lol Luck struck our side about an hour before gametime and we were able to find some tickets. Walking into the stadium was some experience. Never before had I been to a pro football game, and here I am walking into what was then the newest stadium in the NFL, and had just hosted the Super Bowl earlier that year. The game itself was awesome!! We ended up pulling a huge 4th quarter comeback and won the game on a game winning kick by none other than Mr. Ryan Longwell. He BARELY snuck the ball through the right goalposts!! I mean BARELY!! :D All I could hear was the roar of the Packer fans. It was awesome!! :happy0005:
