You can do wonders with a crock pot. I am making a beef stew in mine this weekend. Basic, but the results will be tender, hearty, and lot's of gravy for hot biscuits.

Selfmade Pizza dough with tomatosauce, onions, peas, Serrano ham (Spanish), Stilfser cheese (South Tirol, Italy) and artichoke hearts.

Sounds good....but...Applebees...have been there a few times when travelling the US, always a little bit disappointed.
Tried Ruby Tuesday last week and had the impression that it doesnt matter if its Ruby Tuesday, Applebees or whatever - they are almost the same. Am I unfair when saying this ?

Correct, slow cooking is the ticket. You could find a new crock pot on line, Rival makes a good model. I slow cook stews, chili, beans (many types/many recipes), corned beef brisket slow cooked with cabbage and potatoes and carrots (Ooo Laa Laa !!), and homemade soups.

Had a couple spicy brats. Of course that's bratwurst not brats as in kids. Not a cannible like Hannibal. But then baby goats are called kids

I actually was working the concession stand so everything I made was good. Hard to mess up nachos when all you do is open the bag for the chips and ladle on melted cheese from a can. Oh and they won. The most they have been tested all season. Still have not lost a game in league this season. Did lose in a tournament with much larger schools in a few weeks back. We are dominant in our little pond though.
