To me, it would be no big deal. Did you know that there is a certain amount of bugs and stuff ALLOWED in peanut butter?
Now, the little mice were small, and i'm sure burned up quickly. In many countries, they EAT rats as part of their meals. My old Pastor of a church i went to was a missionary to Portugal. He was invited to eat at one of the local people's homes. He eat the meat, which he noticed had veins running through it. When he asked the other missionary with him about it, he was told "Those arn't veins, those are worms. The meat you ate was rat meat, and they all have worms in them!" He of course puked!
Anyway, it would have harmed your steaks any. If you waited the 15 minutes for the charcoal to heat up, they were fried and their "fumes" were gone already anyway.
If you only KNEW what went on at restaurants, you would never eat out again either!!!
